Marlyne Valece Donaldson Roundtree is a reliable and compassionate Woman of God. She wears many hats including but not limited to being a Mother, Mentor, Sister, Evangelist, DFW Chaplain and District Missionary to the Texas North Central Legacy Fellowship District under the watchful care of Superintendent/Pastor Benjamin Garrett.  She is also the Founder and CEO of Eleemosynary Ministries, a ministry that proudly supports those in need within her community and surrounding areas. Marlyne’s Evangelistic and Chaplainship is fully supported by Bishop Kevin and Pastor Sonjia Dickerson and The Vision Fellowship of Churches, where she was ordained to minister as an Elder in the Lord's Church.  

 

Her illustrious career at American Airlines (AA) for over 36 years as a Customer Service Manager as well as a Supervisor has afforded her the opportunity to corporately manage, train, travel and minister around the world.   

 

Marlyne has been in service all of her life, she is the second child in a line of fourteen children. She was married to the love of her life for over forty-one years, to the late Elder Roosevelt Roundtree, Jr.. She is also the mother of four, two sons and two daughters, Sam, Tracie, Pia and Rolan.  She is also a proud grandmother to eleven and a great-grandmother of three.  

 

Although her informal education began at an early age, she was formally educated at Aspen Christian College & Seminary where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban Religion.   

 

Marlyne is committed to bridge the gap up to four generations and to the Church through ministering the Word of God. She has a heart to serve God and the people of God in all  that she does. Marlyne supports the homeless and mothers in need by supplying items, especially diapers. She believes that her assignment in this season of her life is to be a Mother in Zion and to inspire and encourage by precept and example.
